Feedback on the Summer 2022 issue
I loved the summer issue, and the old J-School grad in me was
particularly impressed with the depth of the features.
The Dave Frishberg profile [“He Was Hip”], full of sharp detail,
reminded me that I caught his act at the Algonquin Hotel in New
York years ago.
He sang, among other of his hits, the great baseball melody
“Van Lingle Mungo.” We chatted afterward, mostly about our
shared St. Paul and U of M roots.
