Homecoming 2010: Paint the Town Gold
Honor the spirit of the maroon and gold during Homecoming, September 26 – October 2. Give back to the community by donating non-perishable food items for the Stuff the Truck food drive throughout the week of Homecoming, and consider donating blood for the American Red Cross Blood Drive on Sept. 29th. Children 12 and under can also enter the coloring contest for a chance to be featured as a special guest in the Homecoming Parade!

Alumni Association honors top volunteers, groups and programs
The University of Minnesota Alumni Association will honor its outstanding alumni volunteers, groups and programs at a celebratory event to be held at the McNamara Alumni Center on October 8, 2009. U to Honor Top Alumni Volunteers
