Test Preparation Classes 
For many people considering an advanced degree, the biggest obstacle to getting started is the entrance exam. Whether plans include graduate school, law school, or business school, entrance exam scores are an important part of the admission process. The College of Continuing Education's Grad School Test Prep program offers high quality courses to prepare individuals for the GRE, GMAT,  PCAT, or LSAT exams.  For more information or to register, visit

About LearningLife
A program of the College of Continuing Education, LearningLife offers a wide-ranging, innovative portfolio of high-quality noncredit offerings for those who seek learning experiences that are academically rigorous, intellectually challenging, and both personally and professionally enriching.
Taught by University faculty, and scholars and professionals from the community, LearningLife’s roster of short courses, seminars, and one-day immersions are an invitation to take part in rich, meaningful experiences that highlight the knowledge resources of the University within a community of engaged and active learners.

Alumni Association members receive a 10% tuition discount on LearningLife short courses, one-day immersions, and seminars. Discounts are not available for Headliners single tickets or Encore Transitions. Students are responsible for special/material fees, if any, for a particular course.

Headliners, the University of Minnesota’s popular current event series, offers the opportunity to meet with University experts as they share firsthand knowledge of today's most intriguing stories—from medical breakthroughs and culture clashes to social trends, foreign affairs, and more! Encore Transitions
Offered annually, Encore Transitions is a series of courses designed to help people prepare for post-career life by focusing on personal, professional, and social satisfaction, as well as timely financial matters.
